Lauren advises employers in a diverse range of matters, including those involving:

  • Wage-hour law, including wage-hour compliance and resolving and defending against wage-hour disputes, whether in court or before administrative agencies;
  • Workplace harassment and discrimination disputes;
  • Management of reasonable accommodation requests by employees who are disabled, religious, or victims or domestic violence; and
  • Legal compliance and best practices in the proper classification of workers as volunteers, interns, employees, and independent contractors.

Lauren also works with employers to draft essential workplace documents, including:

  • Employee handbooks;
  • Employment offer letters;
  • Independent contractor agreements;
  • Non-competition and non-solicitation agreements; and
  • Confidentiality agreements.
